Visual Marketing Strategy

If you aren’t a little different than your competition, you’re in trouble.

In need of a big promotional campaign for your company? The biggest package I offer, "Mary Poppins", comes with a ton of perks! Not only do I act as the company’s social media manager, but I double as a videographer for videos to be featured on your website, social media pages, etc. And if needed, I am more than wiling to help with marketing and events. Being the social media manager for Dakota Eye Care, I had the opportunity to help them promote many events lately such as their grand opening and patient appreciation week.  Subsequently, they saw the amount of their Facebook and Instagram followers increase dramatically.

Although I think videos are the best way to promote an event (see my previous blog post about the importance of video), I really wanted to learn a new skill. So, I told them I could create flyers and postcards to display around their practice and send to patients via mail. I didn't want to limit myself to just social media platforms so thought this was a great chance to give it a whirl! Little did I know, I would have a ton of fun doing a little bit of graphic design.

Their patient appreciation week had a spring theme, so I wanted something bright and cheerful! This is a flyer that I put in little 4x6 frames to display around their office.

This is the front of a post card that they sent out to all of their patients. I love that they still wanted to send something in the mail because believe it or not, not everyone is on Facebook!

Finally, this is a social media flyer I put up on their Facebook page in honor of their grand opening. Giving your followers a visual image always gets more response than text — much like pictures and videos! As a social media manager, I also think it is smart to do giveaways on Facebook and Twitter. It is a great way to reach out and engage people while thanking them for their loyalty to your company.

When people hear information, they're likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retain 65% of the information three days later. People following directions with text and illustrations do 323% better than people following directions without illustrations. Facebook posts with images see 2.3x more engagement than those without images. Incredible, right? Yes! I want to help you keep pace with these trends.

As I have mentioned in the past, the great thing about my packages is that I customize them to your liking. If you see something in the package you don’t want or need, just let me know. If there is something you want to add, I am ALWAYS open to new ideas. Dakota Eye needed help with marketing, so that's where I was able to step in and use my creativity. That’s the beauty of my work, I love trying new things. I will do whatever it takes to help you make your business unique and find ways incorporate more visual and interactive content for your marketing strategy.
