Amy Coppersmith, owner of Coppersmith Photography, and I covered a conference together for the first time in 2017. We hit it off immediately and respected each other’s work ethic and quality of work. Since then, we have collaborated on multiple projects and have supported each other’s companies. Our goal is to offer our clients the best possible content and optimize their marketing needs to new levels. To learn more about Amy, visit coppersmithphotography.com

Coppersmith Photography

Meet Amy Coppersmith:

I am Amy Coppersmith, a mother to three kids and two dogs, wife to my best friend Matthew, and a forever Minnesotan. I am the co-owner and lead photographer for Coppersmith Photography, an editorial photography studio specializing in corporate and small business photography.

I have been in the photography world since I was a teenager, and plan to continue with it until I can no longer lift a camera. (and even then, I’ll probably just hire in someone to hold it for me)

I have been awarded multiple photography awards such as the 2017 Emerging Artist Award with the Central MN Arts Board, six-time winner of the Minnesota Star Award for Best Event Photographer, nominated four times for MN Meetings and Events Best of Photographer, 2017 Top 100 photographer in the world with Shoot and Share, and many others

I am obsessed with reading, sports, Photoshop, and jewelry. My side projects include The Fairy Godmother Project and personal fine art creations.  I’m also an axe thrower and a lover of Legos.

Meet Matthew Coppersmith:

I am Matthew Coppersmith. I am a father of three kids, husband to my best friend Amy, and both a woodworker and photographer.  I am the co-owner of Coppersmith Photography and run the drone side of the business.

I am an FAA licensed pilot, and love being able to photograph the world from above!  I started photography in high school. After graduation I went on to college to study for my degree in photography and business marketing.

I am also the owner of Coppersmith Customs where I create custom installation pieces for businesses and homes.

I am a lover of all things wood. Trees.  Sawdust. Tools that work with wood. I’m also an avid video gamer and axe thrower.
