Social Media Tips
Hi everyone, and happy August! As August is rolling in, it is absolutely crazy to think that we have been quarantined for almost five months. During these hectic times, work can be a great way to keep yourself grounded by focusing on accomplishing a task. As of recently, my workload has picked up, and I am currently onboarding new clients and projects. I am so thankful to have been able to keep working throughout this pandemic, and one thing that has helped me keep work busy has been focusing on my social media! Social media is pivotal in marketing your business and reaching a larger client base. I am so excited to announce that Falco Creative Media will be offering an add on service where we create personalized posts for your business on any social media platform. In honor of Falco Creative Media’s new add on service, I thought I’d share some social media tips with all of you!
Have a color scheme. If you take a look at the @falcocreativemedia Instagram, you’ll see that I have a pretty consistent color scheme throughout all of my posts. This helps your profile’s overall aesthetic and the mood it projects! Having a bold, yet organized profile will catch people’s eye and have them more likely to pay attention to your content.
Use hashtags. Hashtags do have a certain limit where they simply become annoying. When you’re reading a post and there are hashtags scattered across the whole thing, your attention can be taken away from the actual contents/meaning of the post. But hashtags are super useful in getting people to find your businesses’ profile! The solution is to add all the hashtags spaced down at the end of your post. This way your posts will communicate your message, while also being discoverable to people who don’t follow you.
Use locations. Utilize the places around you! For example, my office is located in St. Paul and I always try to take advantage of this by taking photos and videos of the twin cities! This keeps your posts new and exciting. It’s also important to remember to hashtag or add the location to your post. This way people around the area of your post can discover your businesses’ page!
Invest in video content, duh. Spicing it up by not just posting photos keeps your audience from getting bored. Having fun videos to post on your feed is a great break from posting photos, which can get repetitive. If this sounds like something you’d like to add to your business, contact us!
Know your audience. Know who you’re trying to reach with your posts and who will be most likely to interact with your posts. This way you can tailor your content to this group of people in order to gain the most exposure for your accounts!
