Conference Video Marketing

At the end of the week, I will head to my hometown of Kansas City to cover the 2024 Grain Elevator and Processing Society conference. Conferences are a huge part of my video production company, and I am always honored to cover events in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Kansas City and beyond.

Here is the video I filmed, produced and edited for the 2023 GEAPS Exchange. This was my 3rd conference with this company and I am beyond grateful for the partnership. What I love most about GEAPS is their understanding of the importance of video marketing. This video was just 1 of 25 that I produced for them following the 2023 conference; including a 3-minute promo, :30 highlight reel, testimonial videos, a website banner video and other various pieces of content for them to distribute. GEAPS is an incredible association with so much passion and love for the industry that it makes every event that much sweeter.

So, what does a conference look like for Falco Creative Media? Conference days are usually about a 10-12 hour shoot where I capture as much content as I possibly can. I gather footage of keynote speakers, education sessions, exhibit halls, networking, etc. Of all of these, the most important thing is capturing the vibe of the event— people shaking hands, laughing, networking, attendees being inspired by speakers, etc . On top of filming the conference, I always sit attendees and employees down for interviews so we can hear their story and why their involvement with the organization is important to them. The atmosphere at conferences are always electric and it’s so fun to see people enjoy each other’s company while being engrained into the industry they love.

Why is video marketing at conferences important? Video Marketing is a great way to humanize your conference and spark excitement. Through interviews with speakers, testimonials with attendees, or sneak peeks into workshops, videos give us an authentic connection. Not to mention, a high quality video has the potential to boost the visibility of future conferences across all digital platforms. If you want to create a lasting impact that resonates long after the event has ended, video marketing is your solution.
